À first class hotel, from the minute we walked into reception we were welcome by a lovely receptionist. All the staff were happy, helpful and very professional. Very clean and well maintained throughout. The dinner and the breakfast were amazing, good quality produce and well presented. Compliments to the Chefs and the baker, and to the very cheerful and informing Shiva, thank you for making our evening perfect. You will not be disappointed with this wonderful hotel|Linda, Gary et Nelson our little dog who was really welcomed

This is a Logis hotel, so you know what to expect (in a word, reliable). Bedrooms had been modernised and ours was comfortable and quiet. The rest of the place has a slightly old fashioned air about it, but perfectly pleasant and clean ( a lot of different floor levels, so access might be challenging for some). They have tour bookings, which might mean the restaurant can get busy. Car parking is a bit limited, and tight in places - so aim to arrive early! We enjoyed our short stay, along with dinner and breakfast.

This hotel is situated outside the main city of Clermont Ferrand in a quieter residential area. Parking is limited but the welcoming receptionist directed us to the back of the hotel where we could securely park our car overnight. The hotel has an old world charm and laid back ambience. The rooms are large with high ceilings and comfortably, but simply furnished. There was no fridge or kettle in our room. It is very close to a railway line but don't be put off by this - we only heard one train during our stay as it must be a branch line. |We ate in the hotel's restaurant in the evening , which was busy with both guests and locals - always a good sign. There was a choice of 2 set menus or Al Carta. We had an excellent meal from the set menu which was beautifully presented and served. Highly recommend staying at this hotel as the food and service was excellent.

A LET DOWN! Lovely location, nice park and terrace. HOWEVER we booked the last room that was car park level and looked like a construction site all over. Dirty bedsheets we had to change ourselves, tons of noise with cars and people from 6am onwards. Pictures are doctored but reality is absolutely not a 3 star hotel. They should not have hired out that room to anyone. The response to our complaint is rubbish, corporate and dismissive. A let down and we didn’t bother with their food and offered breakfast to shut us up : )

I can't say enough good things about this hotel...|Staff - the friendliest and most helpful ever|Hotel & grounds - stunning. Very French in the best possible way|Food - amazing. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant all 3 days of our stay and were delighted at everything. Great vegetarian options too.|Rooms - beautiful with super comfortable beds and lovely, modern bathrooms.||Summary: 10/10. I'd go back tomorrow. Thank you everyone who made our stay so perfect.

This old and outdated hotel definitely doesn't deserve 3 stars!! even 1 star would be exaggerated.|Don't come here if you expect to have a good night sleep. Don't come here if you want to get something for your money...|Rooms are old and outdated, mattress extremely uncomfortable, water pressure very weak in the shower . |The electric rolling blinds on the window don't work, and neither deos the air conditioning. In stead of apologizing, doing something about it, and reduce the exaggerated room price, the owner charged fully for a night without sleep! |Since the air in the room was hot and stuffy and it was very noisy outside my choice was between not sleeping out of suffocation from heat and the stuffy air in the room, or open the window for some air and not sleep because of the noise. |The owner who was quite unpleasant did admit that the blinds don't work and that the air-condition is disabled (!!) but refused to give me a partial refund or a rebate... and honestly even if the blinds worked and there was no noise, the price of this place is totally out of proportion with its level.|Totally not recommend!!

With a great French menu selection,also written in English, it’s a good local experience for under 50€ per head. Yes they served frogs legs. Delicious. A great cheese selection and good sorbet ends of the meal. The restaurant had a classy feel to it with a great view
